LDNurse.com launches competition to create 100 years of learning disability nursing logo

October 18, 2018

OK guys hope your thinking caps are firmly on and you are ready to unlock your artistic side?  With 100 years of learning disability nursing celebrations to be officially launched in February 2019 LDNurse.com is inviting anyone with a passion for sharing the work that learning disability nurses undertake to enter the 100 years logo competition.  We have put a few examples of logo’s from other learning disability organisations above to get you thinking about how 100 years of learning disability nursing might be captured in a single logo.

The competition offers a prize that money just can’t buy, the winning entry will be introduced as the official logo for all of the 100 years of learning disability nursing events being organised by partner organisations that include Birmingham City University, Coventry University, Keele University and University of Wolverhampton among others. The LDN team want the logo to bring identity to what is going to be an extraordinary year of celebratory events across the UK.

The competition will launch on the 18th October and close Monday 19th November at midnight. Logo’s need to be sent in digital format to 100yearsrnld@gmail.com

The logo’s will then be shortlisted and judged with the winning logo announced on Monday 17th December.  The winning logo will be then used as part of the official 100 years of learning disability nursing event being organised in February 2019.  Winning logo designer will agree to free copyright use of logo.

We are leaving the logo criteria open to interpretation by you lovely creative people, we just need it by the 19th November in digital format, emailed to 100yearsrnld@gmail.com
